Talk The Truth, Being Discerning Isn’t A Crime (yet)

This word has lost it’s way a little.

It’s become a lot like a word you say over and over and it eventually begins to look weird.

Because people love to use it.

It’s the new way to get that much needed attention certain people crave. Sometimes ‘talking the truth’ doesn’t happen.

Authenticity isn’t about wanting attention, it’s about telling your truth, doing what you love and enjoying the process.

The likes, the comments and the claps will come, but these aren’t the driver. Fake authenticity is becoming the new clickbait. Clickbait got found out.

We’re wise to you.

I understand that churning out quality content can be time consuming, I find that my best work comes at odd times and I can go through long phases of complete creative shutdown.

I try to talk about things that I’m feeling passionate about.

I might see another post on Linkedin, a YouTube video or some crap on Twitter that’s clearly bullshit and huzzah, this post is born.

I want the internet to be less awful and full of integrity but know that’s a tall order — so I’m happy to carve out a tiny sliver of it with people that feel the same.

Talk the truth, it’s easier than you think. Being discerning isn’t a crime. Yet.
